Location:                    Dunstable, LU5 5XE, hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home or another location

 

We’re Whitbread, home of Premier Inn, the UK’s largest hotel chain, as well as some of the nation’s favourite go-to restaurant brands.  We are looking for an experienced in-house Resourcing Business Partner to join our support centre (head office) resourcing team.   In this role you’ll be part of a team of Resourcing Business Partners, each aligned to specific business functions.  You’ll deliver end to end recruitment, along with creating and delivering functional talent acquisition plans where you’ll be able to demonstrate your business partnering, forward thinking and strategic skillset.  

 

This is an individual contributor role (no line management) and will suit someone with strong in-house recruitment knowledge and expertise in hiring into corporate functions, who enjoys business partnering and developing hiring plans, but who also importantly still loves hunting for talent and personally delivering full cycle recruitment on a busy desk and providing an exceptional candidate experience.   If that sounds like you then please apply now! 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Develop and implement strategic resourcing plans for your functions, taking into account immediate hiring priorities and forecasting future hiring needs in line with business goals.
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment at all levels, from brief taking through to offer negotiation and acceptance, directly sourcing and qualifying candidates, providing diverse shortlists, co-ordinating interviews, advising on selection process, coaching and guiding hiring managers and managing the candidate experience throughout.
  • Build effective relationships with senior business and HR stakeholders.
  • Deliver hiring manager training to ensure swift, fair and inclusive hiring processes are adhered to.
  • Conduct market mapping and salary benchmarking activity where necessary to develop appropriate talent pipelines and to understand and address key market challenges.
  • Draw upon expert recruitment knowledge, internal and external data, industry best practise and market insights to support the ongoing development of the hiring plan and inform key hiring decisions.
  • Produce and maintain accurate data and management information reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

What you’ll need:

 

  • Significant experience of in-house resourcing, with proven direct hiring success at all levels for large corporate functions such as Finance, Technology, HR, Legal, Procurement etc.
  • Experience of partnering with HR and senior leaders to understand immediate hiring priorities, forecast future hiring needs and develop strategic resourcing plans.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of a wide variety of direct sourcing tools and techniques including expert knowledge of Linkedin Recruiter.
  • Proven track record of high performance against key success factors including time to hire, direct sourcing, candidate and hiring manager experience, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience of using internal and external data and insights to influence hiring decisions and solve complex functional hiring challenges.
  • Knowledge and understanding of inclusive recruitment and minimising bias in selection.
  • Good understanding of labour market trends, legislation and regulations impacting recruitment and a keen interest in technical advances in resourcing.
