In the role of Property Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of our fixed asset portfolio and project accounting processes. This is a dynamic position that requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership abilities to guide a team in delivering accurate financial reporting and effective controls.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office

What you’ll do:
- Ensure the integrity and standard of financial reporting- preparation of all Fixed assets information to a high level of accuracy and to required timescales.
- Business partnering to support the Fixed asset accounting of the commercial decisions
- Ensuring that the controls are designed and operated effectively through the control framework (FCF) and that processes are documented and risk and control matrices are developed.
- Balance sheet reconciliations are in line with group accounting policies and ensuring risk and opportunities are identified and flagged as appropriate.
- You will manage relationships with external auditors (Deloitte) and to ensure full compliance with best practice.
- liaising with external audit to deliver a clean audit for fixed assets.
What we need:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Broad accounting knowledge, ability to talk through ideas & assess wider impacts.
- Working with financial and non-financial colleagues at all levels
